We offer a variety of arrangements for Doctors of Optometry by U.S. state, Canadian province, and Puerto Rico.

Types of Doctor Opportunities
Independent Subleasing Doctor - As an independent Doctor of Optometry located next to a Luxottica Retail store, you sublease space to practice optometry.
Associate of a Sublease Doctor - As an independent subleasing doctor, you lease office space at or next door to our retail locations. Luxottica Retail operates the dispensary, while you operate the office and perform full-scope optometry. Just like a private practice, you set your own professional fees and keep the associated patient revenues for your professional services. Your rent includes a furnished, well equipped office.
Employed Optometrist - We may employ the doctor where permitted by law in 10 states. Managing ODs run the practice in our employed locations and Associate ODs work within the practice. We offer a very competitive compensation package. In addition to base salary, we offer a very generous incentive program for our Full-Time and Part-Time Doctors. Employed doctors working at least 1,000 hours each year are also eligible for our 401K and Pension plans. Positions at Full-Time status, which is 35 hours or more per week in most states, qualify you to receive comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as life insurance and our short-term disability plan. Doctors in California are associates of EYEXAM of California and Pearle VisionCare, which are licensed vision health care service plans.
Franchise Opportunities - Franchise opportunities exist with Pearle Vision. As a franchisee, you operate the entire location – the office as well as the dispensary. You keep all of your patient revenues, but pay a royalty and advertising contribution to Pearle Vision. Visit www.PearleVision.com for more information.
